Create Project

Creating a New Project on Mosaic is straightforward once you know how!


      1. Click on Create New Project on Project Dashboard   

    



      2. Select Commercial or Domestic Project Type   

          

It will default to Commercial which uses 2 Project slots from your allowance, Domestic Projects take 1 slot 


        

        

      3. Type Project Name   

    


      4. Enter Site Address, if you have it   

    


      5. State whether you are acting as the PD, or Advisor to the Principal Designer for this project   

    


      6. If acting as the PD you will be asked to acknowledge that this carries legal duties as per CDM2015   

    


      7. State who is acting as the Client for the project    

    


      8. If you are acting as Client Mosaic will ask you to confirm you acknowledge this carries additional legal duties    

    


      9. Click on Confirm to proceed   

    


      10. Click on Yes if you are happy to proceed, or Edit to change the details   

    


      11. Your New Project will appear on your Projects List   

    


      12. Click on View to Enter the Project   

    


      13. You will be asked to accept your Legal Duties per CDM2015   

    


      14. Click to Display the Duties   

    


      15. Review and Accept the Project Duties and Responsibilities   

    


      16. Click to confirm that you read and agree with the responsibilities outlined   

    


      17. If you also have Design Responsibility on this project you should click here to add Designer Duties to your Role   

    


      18. Additional Design Responsibilities will be displayed, and you will get access to the Risk Assessment tool   

    


      19. Click on Accept and Continue   

    


      20. You will be presented with the Pre-Launch dashboard   

    


      21. You will already have Accepted your duties / responsibilities   

    


      22. Click on Complete project particulars to complete the basic project details   

    


      23. Enter all the details you have available   

    


      24. Required Elements such as Town and Project Type will be indicated with an Asterisk (*)    

   


      25. Select the Project Type from the list   

    


      26. Give an accurate Project Description, this will appear in the PCI   

    


      27. The Toggles at the end will automatically remove some Risks from the Risk Assessment depending on your selections    

    


      28. If the finished structure will not be a place of work you will not need to complete the Workplace Regulations element of the Risk Assessment for example   

    


      29. You can toggle these on at any time, including after Project Launch   

    


      30. Mosaic will auto-eliminate certain risks in the risk assessment based on your responses to these questions, this is reversible   

    


      31. Click on Update to continue   

    


      32. Click on Launch Project when you are ready   

    


      33.  Invitation emails will not be sent out until you launch the Project   

    


      34. You will be directed to the Project Dashboard
